Senegalia Berlandieri: (3)

Senegalia Berlandieri is an effective stimulant commonly compared to Acacia Rigidula Extract. It’s great for increasing energy and suppressing appetite. While also providing a feeling of euphoria.

Plus, it has benefits from the PEA alkaloids it yields, which promote focus and more mood-boosting properties.

Green Tea Extract: (4)

Lipodrene also has Green Tea Extract. There is a ton of research on Green Tea’s effect on weight loss.

Theobromine Anhydrous: (5)

Theobromine is a compound found in cacao plants and tea leaves. It has stimulant properties, so its most prominent effect would be the energy boost. Like other stimulants, it also has appetite-suppressing properties.

Yohimbe Extract: (6)

Yohimbine is a mild stimulant. So it can help suppress appetite, but there’s more to its fat-burning properties. The main way that it burns fat is by blocking alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in fat cells. Once its bounds with a fat cell, it “turns off” the alpha receptor, which allows the fat cells to mobilize and burn off.

Citrus Aurantium Extract: (7)

Citrus Aurantium Extract or Synephrine HCl is like ephedrine. This stimulant is also a strong appetite suppressant.

It works by acting like adrenaline when ingested. This helps increase metabolism and boost energy without increasing blood pressure.

Naringen: (8)

Naringin helps burn fat by increasing the production of a fat-burning hormone, adiponectin. When combined with synephrine, it may even increase energy expenditure.

5-Methoxytryptamine HCl: (9)

5-MT is a precursor to melatonin. Why include a sleep aid in a fat burner? Besides its role in sleep, it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It’s also involved with regulating blood pressure, immune function, and body temperature.

Lipodrene With Ephedra:

This is the original Lipodrene, although it’s not the original formula. We feature this version on all our best fat burner posts. But it may not be enough if you’re experienced with thermogenic fat burners in general. Lipodrene with ephedra from Hi-Tech is a mild thermogenic. So instead, we would recommend this version for new users. Or for people looking for a step up from Hydroxyelite.

Firstly, there are a variety of stimulants in Lipodrene. Some of the more potent stimulants include:

5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin. Meaning once consumed, a chemical reaction occurs to produce serotonin. So why not just take serotonin?

Serotonin is too large of a molecule to pass through the Blood-Brain Barrier. Precursors are much smaller and thus can pass through the Blood-Brain Barrier.

The last ingredient is:

Cassia Nomame (15)

Cassia Nomame may prevent the stomach and intestines from absorbing dietary fat. This causes the excretion of dietary fat, which might promote weight loss in some people.

Lipodrene Hardcore:

Secondly, we have Lipodrene Hardcore with Ephedra. Lipodrene hardcore contains two proprietary blends totaling up to 700mg of active ingredients. Generally, if you liked Lipodrene with ephedra (yellow tablet) but wanted more energy, we’d say this is for you.

Why?

When you look at the formula, you’ll see we have some of those core ingredients again. But you also have more of the shared ingredients between these formulas that aren’t in the other fat burners. This includes Ephedra and Cassia Nomame.

Guayusa Extract and Theophylline promote even more energy and appetite suppression, while Evodiamine promotes thermogenesis.

What To Expect:

Firstly, you will need to make sure your diet is on point. A fat burner is a supplement, meaning it comes “in addition to” rather than “in substitution of.” So you won’t get the desired results without correcting your diet and exercise regimen.

Secondly, it may be time to take a break from stimulants. When your tolerance is very high, you naturally will take more of a product to get the same effects. Eventually, the product will feel as if it has lost its effect. When in reality, you’ve just become used to it. Try taking two weeks off of stimulants and then reintroducing them.
